My Field Trip

For one of our field trip we went to South Padre Island. We went when we were in 3 grade. The island wasn't that big. We stayed for 3 days and 4 nights.  For the two first days it was boring because there was a storm and we couldn't go outside. But that night  was fun because all my friends ran away from our rooms and wen't to the resturant inside and ate all night. We never got caught, that was the good part about that. We wen't to the beach the next day. then we left the island on this long brige.

Cruz Azul!!!!!

Cruz azul is the best team in La Liga Mexicana (Mexican league). Even though they lost they are going to win the championship next season. Their last game they went againts was Morelia. They were in the semi finals. The first game was in estadio azul, Cruz azul won 2-0. Then they wen't to the soccer stadium of Morelia. Morelia won 3-0. At the end of the game the whole teams were fighting.

I really liked my team! I got along with Iliana and Estefanie really well. We all had different ideas but we worked on one main topic. I'm really proud of my self because I learned how to work on flash. Also I learned how to do codes in the actions layer. We had one game topic, water pollution. We chose that one because of the turtles that are dying because of the pollution.

Osama Bin Laden

Yesterday on the news Obama was talking about something, but I really didn't care until I saw big red letters that said that Osama Bin Laden DIED, finally!!!!. He was the leader of the Al Qaeda, oh scratch that the ex leader of  Al Qaeda ( no offense) I wonder what U.S is going to do now?

Stand and Deliver

Stand and Delivercwas about a class in Garfield High School in Los Angeles, California with a new teacher named Jaime Escalante. Origanly he was suppost to teach on the computers but the school didn't have any computers so he taught math instead. All the kids had no interrest in learning but he made it a little bit more interresting so the students paid attention to him. the students took the AP calculus test and they got the same answers so they taught they cheated. So they took the test again and they all past with defferint scores. Jaime made a difference because over the years he had more students passing.

The Big Test

I'm sort of excited about the TAKS but I think i'm not going to pass it. I wan't to get it over with all ready. After TAKS i'm going to just watch TV all day. I think TAKS is a waste of time because any randome lazy kid would gess on almost all of them and pass the TAKS. Soi thats what I think about TAKS.

Ipads For Kids

I think having a Ipad is great for little kids because they might not pay attention in class with a five hundred page book in front of their desk. I wouldn't really pay attention to a teacher reading all day. Also if all the schools had a Ipad they would cut less trees in the world. Also if they lose their book they wouldn't learn any thing in class that day. But the Ipad is in the class room with all the class subject. A disadvanteg is that they would get addected to the Ipad and wouldn't listen to the teacher.
