What Are You proud Of?

What I'm proud of staying focused in class. Another thing that I am proud of is I am passing this class. One thing to accomplish is I don't have a tiger track in this class. What I want to accomplish is keep being good in class.

The Lottery

The movie was sad and good because if you want to go to a good school you have to win the lottery. The school was called Harlem success academy. If you are a teacher and you did a bad job you will get fired. The families in the movie were single dads or single moms. All the families hope to win the lottery but they usually don't win.

What Are You Reading

My  book is called Wild Card. The author is called Paul Mantell. It's about two twins who are in high school that play football. Tiki is a RB and Ronde is a CB. Their both in 8 grade. Right now Tiki makes the field goals and punts the ball. He dose that because Adam was the one who made the field goals, they called him the golden foot. Now Tiki has to wait until Adam passes the make up test.

New Schedule

The new schedule is confusing. We should stay with the same group. The new schedule is kind of cool because we get to meet our other friends that were in other groups. My first period is ELA, my second period is Service learning or Spanish the most easiest classes in the school, third period is P.E or Fine Art, 4th period is Globaloria, 5th period is Science or Social studies, And 6th period is Math.

My game idea is: One Idea that  have I his this man going all over the world telling people to recycle and along the way he faces this big giant ball of gas and he has to kill with a gun a it before it kills you. My other Idea is this man in a car killing global warming.

Rapunzel's Revenge

The book that I'm reading is Rapunzel's Revenge. It might sound like a girls book but it's not really.It's for boys and girls. I chose it because the book cover looked interesting. What is happening so far in the story is that there was this girl named Rapunzel who lived with this old lady called mother Gothel. She lives in brick wall dome. She wanted to see what was out there in the world. One day on her 12 birthday she decided to go over the wall, when she went over the wall she saw people working in mines. She talked to this lady who was getting some water and the lady  told what she was doing here, Rapunzel said she was the daughter of Gothel. The lady started to cry and came to Rapunzel and said your my daughter. That's what I'm Reading so far.

In the arms of strangers

The movie is about Jewish people and Hitler. On the day November 9,1938 Hitler started to make Jewish rules and take them to the concentration camp.There was allot of people getting lined up by the Nazis . On that day they broke windows from buildings and burned down a synagogues. Jewish kids were sent to British and England. They left in a plain or a train. Most of them went in a train. There were allot of Jewish parents in the train station.You could see the parents crying and fainting at the train station. When the kids were in England they felt joy, happy, and freedom.The kids in the train station had a tag with a number in it. the kids could only bring a little bit of what they had. when the kids got to England they got picked up by strangers who were their new guarding. The kids who didn't get a new parent went to a little camp. The kids who didn't get a parent went into this cafeteria and that's how they got their new parents. The people there wanted a girl with blond hair and blue eyes and for the boys they were most likely to get picked if they were young. For the older boys well they usually didn't get picked. The kids got picked by their number. Some of the kids had to learn a new language.

Anne Frank

The movie was good and sad. The movie Is about a girl named Anne Frank who is Jewish. Anne lived in a house with her family and some other people like the van pels family and some other old persone. Anne was going out with this kid named peter van pel.

weekly blog

Today we were watching a movie about the Holocaust in Germany. The project was called paper clip. A middle school in Whit will, Tennessee is collecting paper clips for the 6 million people who died in the concentration room. Every day the students got letters and paper clips from people from all over the world even famous people like Bill Cosby , ex president Bush etc. The movie was interesting and sort of sad. It was a good movie.

After the movie was over we searched for websites about our game topics. My game topic is global warming. We went to brain pop and we watched videos about our game topics. I watched 10 videos about global warming. I'm doing a game topic about global warming because we are dealing with this issue all around the world.What I been working on globaloria is taking notes for my game topic. What I succeeded in class is learning more about making a mini game. What is hard about it is keeping up with the class. My success at school is making a carrot move to the left and right. The challenging thing about it is knowing what to do. What I'm looking forward to is making a real game.What I been working on is making my carrot move straight.The challenge for me was keeping up with the class. I got lost on step number 3.

Some ways that the Internet is used for communication is e mail. Bloger is a nother communication. Another is myspace,facebook,and twitter. The most important to me is blogger because you can talk about your feelings about any thing.

My topic was about global warming. The topic is important to me because It's an issue for the whole world. Another reason is that It's killing us slowly. Another reason is that It's pollutin the air that we  breath .

BLUE GOLD was kinda boring.What I learned about the movie was that coca cola polluted the water.I also learned that people can turn salt water into fresh water.I learned that water can make big sink hole.

CHALLENGES

I was having problems paying attention in class. Now I pay attention in class.  I'm getting better grades in class. I don't have any other problems in class.

Game

The game I was playing was plan it green. I past it and it was cool.The game was about making Eco buildings. You should play it one day it's a good game.

My weekend

On Saturday my dad and me going to watch Cruz Azul vs Toluca.Toluca is going to be home. It's going to be hard game for Cruz Azul.On Sunday I'm doing nothing , just watching TV. That's my weekend.

most meaningful documentry

The most meaningful documentary to me is food ink. The movie changed the way I thought about burgers and about other foods. The movie inspired me to eat organic foods. The movie inspired me to learn more about this social issue.

My choice

On Saturday I'm going to watch CRUZ AZUL vs AMERICA . I think CRUZ AZUL is going to win 1-0.On sunday I'm going to do nothing. Thats my weekend.

food Inc.

What I learned about food inc  is that they put all these chemicals on the food we eat. I learned that a little kid died of E coli. I learned that they give corn to the cows and that is how the cows get E coli. The companies don't care about us and the animals.

back to school night

Today is back to school night. I learned how to put a video in my blog. I learned how to had links in my blog to. I learned alot in Ms.Valdez class.

My choice

On Saturday I'm going to the movies I'm going to see Devil. After we see the movies me and my dad are going to watch a soccer game. My dads favorite game is Cruz Azul.They are going against Necaxa. That's my weekend.

The least affective

The least effective game was nothing but net.Their was no issue in this game just making nets.You learn to make baskets in this game.This game is a sports genre.The game is not really a good learning game because you just make nets.Its a good game but it doesn't have in issue.It doesn't really tell the player what to do.I would put some music and math problems.I would make the computer talk to you and move with arrows.

most affective game

The most effective game is what would you do?The social issue was about teen pregnancy.What you can learn about this game is make good choices. The genre for this game is adventure. This game is a good game because you can learn to make good decisions in life. The issue in this game is making the right decisions and the wrong decisions. In the game you make the decisions and it looks like a good game.What I would change in the game is it needs some music and move the characters with the arrows.I would like to learn how to move something with arrows and make the computer talk to you.

I'm going to my friends hose on Saturday. After that , in Sunday I'm going to Barton springs,my family and I are going on a little train that's there and eat some ice cream. After that were are probably going to my grandpas house.And that's my weekend.

An Inconvenient truth Is about global warming. It talked about what how global warming effects the world. But I didn't understand it. It talks about tornado rates, hurricanes rates and more.

My first week was boring. Their was allot of homework. The first week was hard. I liked the teachers In my school they talk allot.
